We are excited to announce that The American Journal for Nurse Practitioners has now gone live at the NP Communications (NPC) website, www.webNPonline.com. This website will serve as the portal for all NPC publications, including The Pearson Report. The home page will be highly informative and interactive. All of our NP readers, as well as NP groups, organizations, and associations, are invited to participate in promoting the NP profession and your own professional activities on our website. Please log on to our website and check us out!
When you subscribe to AJNP online, you will have full access to all of our journal content, including articles that are so up-to-date and of great interest that they appear only on our website and only to subscribers. When you subscribe to our journal, you will also have access to The Pearson Report, the annual state-by-state legislative update, in its entirety. An overview of the report appears on pages 49-53 of this print issue, as well as online. But the individual 2010 state reports, as well as Linda’s famous maps and invaluable charts, will be available exclusively at www.webNPonline.com starting in March.
When you log on to the NPC website, you will see that all of the NPC publications, AJNP, Women’s Health Care, NP World News, Practice Management, and The Pearson Report, will be available by subscription. When you subscribe to AJNP or to any combination of journals, The Pearson Report is included in the price.
The print issue of AJNP February 2010 includes “Essure: A Nonsurgical Option for Female Sterilization,” by Sharon Myoji Schnare and Amy Garcia; “Ewing’s Sarcoma: What Primary Care NPs Need to Know,” by Blake Selby; “House-call Practice: An Alternative to Office-based Practice,” by Andrea L. Brand, “Use of ARBs to Prevent or Treat Diabetic Kidney Disease,” by Stephanie Gordon; and Tom Bartol’s Promoting the NP Profession column. An article appearing exclusively at www.webNPonline.com is “Crisis in Emergency Departments: The Nurse Practitioner Role,” by Patricia D. Abbott and Brenda Zierler.
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we want to tell you that we ♥ our AJNP readers and welcome you to www.webNPonline.com
